How we started
Careful Dream started in 2025 with a simple observation: most software isn't very useful. Too many apps exist to chase trends or check boxes. We wanted to build things that people actually need — and ship them fast enough to find out if we were right.
So we started building. A Hebrew date tracker for families. A merge game for fun. A Shopify tool to help merchants sell more. An AI-powered CMS that deploys itself. Each project taught us something, and each one shipped faster than the last. Fourteen months and 17 public projects later, that pace hasn't slowed down.
How we work
We don't do six-month discovery phases or 80-page requirements documents. Here's what actually happens:
Understand the problem
We start by listening. What are you trying to solve? Who's it for? What does success look like? One conversation is usually enough to know if we're a good fit.
Prototype fast
We build a working version quickly — not a mockup, not a slide deck, a real thing you can use. This is where most of the important decisions happen.
Ship and iterate
We deploy early, gather real feedback, and improve. Every project gets containerized, CI/CD pipelined, and deployed to production — not left on a staging server forever.
Hand it off clean
You get the code, the infrastructure, and the knowledge to run it yourself. No vendor lock-in, no mystery black boxes. If you want us to keep maintaining it, we're happy to — but you're never stuck.

Beyond the public portfolio
Not everything we build has our name on it. We've built automated trading systems, marketing analytics platforms, self-hosted enterprise search for air-gapped environments, AI-powered recipe scanning, e-ink dashboard planners, game modding tools, library catalog search, AI genealogy interviewers, child-safe AI chat, and game server management — all under NDA. The work is real. The clients are happy. We just can't show you.
